TheĀ PE-0182-G0Ā is used If you are installing the Hexpander without the Acousti-Phonic and allows you to have signal transmission (magnetic pickups and/or raw piezo signal) run down pin 7 of your 13 pin cable.
This allows you to wire your magnetic pickups to run out the 13 pin jack and into your MIDI converter when not installing the Acousti-Phonic preamp.
